Introducing Asceld: autonomous, non-custodial AI agents for DeFi

Earning in DeFi has quietly become a full-time job. Rates move hourly, opportunity is scattered across protocols and chains, and the tools that promise to automate it usually ask for the one thing you should never hand over: your keys. We built Asceld to fix that.

What Asceld is

Asceld deploys autonomous, non-custodial AI agents that earn, rebalance, and protect your on-chain capital around the clock. You connect a wallet you already control, pick a risk profile, and the agent does the work — planning, executing, and re-planning every cycle as the market moves.

The part that matters most: your funds never leave your wallet. Operations are signed via Lit Protocol's multi-party computation, and the agent is authorized to act on your strategy — not to move funds to an address it controls. It can work for you, but it can't run off with your capital.

Why we're not just "an AI that trades"

Soon, capable AI will be everywhere and cheap. "We have AI" won't be a moat. So we're not betting on the agent being the smartest brain in the room — we're betting on what stays scarce in finance: a verifiable track record earned over time, safety that's been hardened on real mainnet money rather than in a demo, and non-custody built into the architecture instead of bolted on as a feature.

We don't compete with protocols like Aave — we automate them. Asceld is the manager that puts your capital to work across them.

Where we are today

Asceld is live on XRPL and Base mainnet, executing real transactions with safety rails enforced before every signature — spending caps, reserve floors, pre-signing checks, a whitelist, and an instant emergency pause. You stay in control the whole time: pause or withdraw whenever you want.

Where we're going

Next is deepening multi-chain: Arbitrum is in beta on the same vault, and more ecosystems join as they earn their place — with one non-custodial vault working across chains and a focus on routing capital to the best opportunity. After that: a no-code agent builder, and eventually a marketplace where creators publish strategy templates with verified on-chain track records.
